Wine making can become expensive, but depending on the amount one makes will decide the price per bottle breakdown. My wine cost averages about $1.98 a bottle. After the second year of making the wine, the equiptment cost has been erased and the bottles are reused leaving the grapes, corks and wood chips the only cost factor. I make about 300 bottles a year.
